- Cary Clifford lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She has shown her photography around the world, and has published in numerous magazines as well as the book Women by Women (Prestel Verlag). She was artist in residence at the Weir Farm Trust in Connecticut, and received the Ruth Chenven Foundation Grant as well as The Charles Garside Grant.
